Applying to college as a deaf student question!!!?
A lot of top colleges are extremely interested in having a diverse student body, and he would contribute greatly to any college in many ways. Not only is his deafness an advantage (although they may wonder how he can study piano if he can't hear) but also his international experiences, though they were a big minus to him personally, should be a plus for admission officers. Add to that his good grades and scores, which show courage and determination, and the incredible letters of recommendation he will have, and there is no doubt that everything taken together will make him a very desirable candidate. Isn't it a little late in the year to be applying now, though?
