Does CAPITALISM provide Americans with modularity in the solutions to their problems?

My ancestors immigrated to this country for the sole purpose of getting as far away from intrusive government and over taxation. I do not think that some people know their history, roots, or the foundation of this great country we live in. God help us if we ever need the government more thant they need us! Our current government is trying to corner the American People into submissive reliance and mediocrity. So..... to answer your question, government needs us, but they sure don't want it that way.
