Morbid question but im curious?

we all keep in touch with our contacts whether via email through our profiles or even our own personal email accounts......if we only have casual random conversation and are not too personal then if something were to happen to us (lets say we died) then no one would know why they weren't getting a response.....what my real question is here, is what does yahoo do with our accounts since they would have no way of knowing that we had died?......do they automatically shut down the account after a certain period of inactivity?....again, i'm just curious
