WHAT DOES THIS METAPHOR MEAN?

i just copped lupe fiascos food & liquor today and on the inside booklet thers all these picture of this kindergarten cl but instead of books they all have guns and the teachers totally cool with this and on the next page instead of pro school posters theyre all pro gun and then on another page theres a picture of a kid in the princibuls office getting busted for having a book like its a gun at first i thought this was a hip hop metaphor were the kids are like rappers and everyones cool with you rappin about guns and stuff but if u rap consciously they wont play u or get signed and the princebles like the radio or label but then on the next couple pages theres pix of gang member on the street toting books instead of guns and theyre wearing bandanas and stuff and then they have like a gang pic were they have bandanas on and pointing books like guns and on another page theyre selling books on the street like guns and on the next page u see them jumping out a car with bandanas on theyre faces "shooting" books as people are running away and on the next page u see a bunch of people layed out on the side walk with guns next to them. once again these are all still photos. please explain
