Rent the house, divide the debts, get jobs that both of you will be able to cover the debts that you have incurred together. Even if the rent you are getting from the house wont cover your other expenses at least the 2 of you are moving into your own separate lives free of each other. Do declare bankruptcy that will haunt you forever. It sounds like you need to do some serious consolidation of debts. Try and get a home equity loan that you can pay off all your debts that will allow you to only worry about paying back one payment and the two of you agree to pay HALF of the loan amount. Good Luck!
