What is the statute of limitations on the Republican promises?

The Republicans , led by John of Orange , promised a transparency for legislation and debate on all bills . Sounds good ... Today they rescinded on the new rules ( promises ) and would not allow any amendments or debate to the repeal of Health Care vote ... Now his latest comment is " we promised transparency in the process , not ALL bills open " ... It has to be the fastest flip - flop on the planet ...Or was it just another lie ?
