Will we ever see socialism make a return in the UK?

If we are to see Britain move forward, we need a system that is going to create jobs for people (and no there is not 'plenty of work out there'), we need a system where housing is affordable and Education and health care is funded by taxation not private finance. We also need affordable energy for homes. Non of these can be provided under capitalism as it is. The 'greed is good' attitude needs to come to an end. And people need to realise that crime, unemployment, poverty etc are not self induced problems but are problems created by a society where people think it is acceptable to just look after themselves and not care about anyone else.
